Judicial Candidate Statement

I have been a trial lawyer for nearly 17 years, dedicating my career to civil litigation and protecting the rights of my clients through countless cases and trials. This extensive experience in the courtroom and with legal writing, research, and analysis has given me wide-ranging knowledge of the law and incredible respect for how the judicial system affects people’s lives. Fair, efficient, and knowledgeable adjudication requires more than legal acumen—it requires having stood where the litigants and lawyers stand.

I am seeking to serve as the District Court judge in Department 28 because I believe the complex legal issues in District Court demand a judge with comprehensive trial experience, a substantive understanding of the law, and an ability to research and analyze that law to apply to the wide variety of issues and people that come before the Court.

The position of a District Court judge is not merely a job; it is a profound responsibility. As judge, I would serve on behalf of the people of Clark County as the impartial arbiter of justice in our community. It would be an honor to work on your behalf, applying the law faithfully and ensuring every person who enters the courtroom receives the fair hearing they deserve.

I am running for judge because experience matters, preparation matters, and dedication to justice matters. I am ready to serve Clark County with integrity, diligence, and respect for the judicial office.
